Today is a work day for me. I hung around the house for the day and was able to work while spending some time with Erin and the twins who were home for the day. Brandon wasn’t around because he actually had to work.
I got some lunch out and almost awkwardly had to tell the sandwich shop I forgot my wallet (after they made my sandwich) but luckily I was saved by Apple Pay.
My aunt Lynn came over to help Erin re-decorate the twins rooms during the day. When I got back from lunch one of the boys was on the floor cutting some trim with a hand saw haha. They’re in the process of transitioning from dinosaur themes to some trendier themes. Once Brandon got home we headed out the door to go to the twins soccer practice.
They were both great at soccer and in the scrimmage they scored all the goals for both teams (Bodie – 3, Charlie 1). They also loved just pouring their water bottles over their heads since it was literally 100 degrees, humid and just blazing sun.
After soccer, Brandon and I went searching for some local beers to try and for me to bring home. We went back to his house and had some dinner with the family, including my aunt Lynn. We hung out for a bit but I headed to bed early because I was gonna try to get up early the next day to get ahead of my 12+ hour drive…
