Today is the last day to get ready! Jaclyn and I are totally burnt out on packing, thinking, planning lol. Luckily, we’ve had a really easy morning with the kids. They’ve been playing with the hose outside and making “chemical rivers” aka soapy water running down the driveway. They keep yelling “we need more chemicals for the river” and making more soapy water. Luckily there’s no environmentalists on our cul-de-sac.
I washed Jaclyn’s car and got everything with the car ready. Jaclyn is inside trying to figure out how to fit just one more snack into the car.
Right before lunch I tested out the “fake” bear spray to know how to use the real stuff. It said it would reach 30ft and it reached like 10ft at max…so now I get to wonder whether the real one is 30ft or if it’s just marketing…
After the morning we went to a neighborhood, beinning of summer pool party and then finished up our packing. We finished the packing just before 10pm and it seems like everything fits nicely! Now time to get some sleep and try to remember what we’re missing…
